My trip to Bromo Vulcano is the my best trip in Java with my wife so far. Departed from Yogyakarta to Malang, we stay overnight in Batu, Malang city, visit awesome waterfall, called Cobanrondo. Its located in Batu area too, about 4km away from the entrance of the main road route Batu – Malang city. With a height of about 30m, the water that falls heavy enough to form water droplets of dew and smooth. Somewhat difficult to approach the target at close range, because the lens will be exposed to water fine splashes.
The one above of my shots, the woman stare at the waterfall, is my wife 🙂
At the below, the waterdrop will form very beautiful a small river where many locations to shoot for “silky water”.
Bromo volcano, with elevation of 2392m above sea level located in East Java, Indonesia. This volcano is well known throughout the world as the place where the photographer shot mountain landscape after sunrise. Beauty curves on a cliff with background of Semeru volcano is really stunning dan very beautiful. Since 1767, the volcano has erupted more than fifty times. Each characteristic eruptions eject ash and gravel, so the caldera formed around the desert which covers 10 square kilometers.
How to get there?
Tribe “Tengger” is a native of Bromo volcano, they are farmer of vegetables, potatoes, and many more plants and fruits in cold environments. To get to the location of this volcano, you can’t drive normal car, because its not allowed, so you have to hire a 4WD jeep from local residents. There are some pretty nice hotel and comfortable residing in villages around the volcano crater.
This photograph, I shoot when the sun is only 10 minutes after the sunrise and I took from the Penanjakan location. At that time, there was a couple from Russia was at my left side, and a woman from Germany to the right of me. As the sun began rising and the body starts to look clear volcano bodies, hundreds of people at that location clapping and amazed. All told: “very beautiful… incredible …!” another said: “I have never seen such a beautiful sight like this … I really lucky …!” and many also speak words of praise on the grandeur of God.
I love take photo with the effect of silky smooth water, call it silky water. The photos silky water is very pleasing to the eye because the subtlety mixed with stones or rough wood. The mix makes a distinctive natural beauty.
Photo below is the photo stream in the Nongkojajar village, Bromo volcano slopes. While the second photo is a small river below the falls Cubanrondo, Batu Malang area, East Java. Both the photo shoot in the middle of my trip to the Bromo volcano a few days ago.
