Toni – my colleague and I had visited to Malaysia last week. This visit is to attend HSE & Leadership workshop held at Awana Hotel, Kijal, which is located in Coastal East Malaysia. The trip from Jogja was long and tiring, because we had to transit twice in Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur, basically leaving early and coming night.
Two day workshop been little boring for us then the first day of the workshop, we walked down the beach at the back of the hotel. I took time to take a few snap photos at the beach, coincidentally the day started overcast and on the east side, a rainbow appeared – of course it surprised me, how do I shot rainbow? when only last week I read an article about how to shot rainbow.
Fortunately, the 24-70mm f/2.8 lens I’ve attached a CPL filter (Circular Polarizer), before I try to adjust this filter up to a maximum order of the rainbow colors look better, it is clear the difference if we shoot without a polarizer filter.
The sun had started leaning to the west, when I and Toni had to go back to hotel for dinner with other staff workshop participants, through the golf course, I took a few shots.
Starting the journey from Kuala Lumpur to Malaysia’s east coast, I had been record the coordinates and tracking with my Garmin GPS and I try to look at the above map tracks the journey, You may see the journey link below:
